IEC's Home Guard® Defender Plus surge protection program includes a Single Phase Power Protector that is leased from IEC for a convenient low payment of $5.95 per month added to your monthly electric bill. The power protector becomes part of your meter but is owned and maintained by IEC. Also included in the program is a package of interior plug-in surge suppressors that become yours to keep.

The program requires a non-refundable installation charge of $29.95 and a 36-month lease agreement.
